2. Scope of Engagement
Alexandria provides AI-enhanced reading experiences, including:
- A customizable eReader that supports themes like 8-bit, noir, and cyberpunk.
- AI-powered image generation via OpenAI's DALL·E 3, based on user-highlighted text.
- User profiles, content tracking, and cloud storage managed via Supabase.
Your continued use of these services indicates acceptance of the evolving nature of our features and capabilities.
3. Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the security of your Alexandria account and any activity under your credentials.
- You agree not to use AI-generated content in a way that violates intellectual property laws or OpenAI's usage guidelines.
- You agree not to abuse prompt generation features for harmful, misleading, or unethical purposes.
- We strive to ensure uptime and performance but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, especially during AI inference.
4. Intellectual Property
The AI-generated images are created using OpenAI's DALL·E 3 model. While users are generally free to use generated images, you must comply with OpenAI's and Alexandria's content policies. We reserve the right to restrict access or remove content that violates these policies.
5. Termination
Either party may terminate this engagement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the app, image history, and saved preferences may be removed. You may contact us to request data deletion.
6. Updates to Terms
We may revise these terms to reflect updates in our services, models, or policies. Continued use after updates constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
