Welcome to Alexandria, an AI-powered eReader that allows you to highlight text from digital books and generate stylized visual interpretations using models like OpenAI's DALL·E 3. By using our application, website, and related services ("Services"), you agree to the following terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Alexandria, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes only. You may not:

• Submit inappropriate, harmful, or copyrighted material as prompts.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the image generation system.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute our software or generated content.

4. AI-Generated Content

When you highlight text or enter a prompt, it is sent to OpenAI's DALL·E 3 model to generate an image. The resulting image is linked to your account and may be stored for viewing, sharing, or re-generation. You retain access to your images, but the underlying AI model and output rights are governed by OpenAI's terms.

5. Image Styles & Customization

Alexandria allows you to generate visuals in various styles, including pixel-art, 8-bit, anime, surreal, and others. These modifiers are applied on top of your highlighted text. We are not responsible for subjective interpretations or stylistic bias in the generated content.

6. Account & Subscription

Some features, such as higher image limits or advanced styles, may require a subscription. Payment processing is handled securely via Stripe. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

7. Data & Storage

We store highlights, prompts, and generated images using Supabase. This data is used solely to support your user experience, and we do not share or sell this data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Limitations of Liability

Alexandria is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that generated images will always meet expectations. We are not liable for any losses resulting from use or misuse of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, especially in cases of misuse, violation of these terms, or abuse of AI systems.

10. Changes to These Terms
